  • Pacing partners!

With this week ending the impressive 57 consecutive days of Jose10k posting, YHC had concerns he would be running alone on this Gloom. Especially after the arrival of all the sub 7s started showing up. Great news is Chewy decided to show up but quickly stated as we began to run he would run out a mile and back. Luckily the YHC started chattering and before you know it Chewy paced with me and we finished with 3.96 miles right on time. Out front were Bushwacker and Waterpik leading the charge and returning to the AO with an unfortunate situation of a morning commuter ending up in a ditch as she left her neighborhood, so the lead horses confirmed no injuries and returned to the flag as Zoolander and Hammer awaited and Chewy and YHC came in to close..

Brief warmup of 10 and 15 IC Toe touches, Torso twists, Butt kicks, High knees and Lunge Twist 25 yards..

Appreciate you men following my lead and Till the next Gloom 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼!!

  • Wackerless Wednesday and Thursday?

YHC cannot remember the last time he has gone Wackerless for so many post!! 😳 Not the same without your mumble chatter in the Gloom sir Bushwacker.. Eight PAX posted on this humid Gloom including the ever reliable Jose10k/A1C/Grumble/Grumble/Sweat Jug contestant.. Boy is that Jug looking nasty 🤢🤮 as Cowbell illustrated in our announcements.. Zoolander, the sights to be seen if this challenge is met will go down in the history books my friend.. Not sure I would want to be on the receiving end of this one though.

    warmup

10IC Torso twist, Toe touches, Superman’s, Scorpion kicks, down Dawg stretch with left and right lizard poses finished with Copperhead squats..

    thang

PAX journeyed the standard route with Cowbell scaling back to the Qs pace. Appreciate the chatter and pacing Cowbell. Rest of the PAX ran a moderate 8:50 pace as we returned with 8 mins to spare for some ISI. Alternating 30 seconds of pull-ups as each PAX proceeded through the routine with some added plank holds. Once through the PAX finished with 20IC Hello Dollys and YHC showed admiration to Cowbell with the close of 10IC Crunchy frogs..

YHC prayed us out and till the next Gloom 👊🏼💪🏼✌🏼!

  • The DNC at the A1C, drop it likes it hot!

    https://youtu.be/T6bjORaYktk

Well coming off of 4 nights of channel surfing and landing on the DNC, YHC figured the PAX would like to drop it likes it hot..

    Disclaimer:

This is not any particular endorsement of any one candidate..

With Cowbell throwing a mix of an after party for Steve and Bushwacker, Q thought he may be journeying solo to the A1C, however Cowbells consistency with late arrivals at AOs allowed for a pre-conversation car ride. Knowing there is always an adventure when you ride with the Wacker this morning’s entertainment was provided by an obviously tired or inebriated vehicle switching signals and lanes as if he was driving like the Joker.

    https://youtu.be/y_7urB6CMgk

Arriving at the top of the parking garage Bushwacker was anxious to bare a gift he had for the Hammer, but with the mood not correctly set and the hot tub moment in the distant past the Wacker was rejected of his moments joy when the 🔨 respectfully said “No thank you!” If you would like further details Jose10k will be happy to explain at his 41st consecutive post on Saturday (Freaking animal) shirtless of course 😬

Enough jabbering let’s get to it.

15IC SSH, Mountain climbers, Mummy kicks

20IC Shoulder taps, Windmills, Imperial walkers.

Now if my numbers are off it’s okay, remember this is the DNC!!

    Thang

All exercises can be found in the Exicon.

    Climate change:

Al Gore stance by the PAX as we go around counter clockwise completing 5 Burpees and returning to Al Gore. R/R 4x as we waited for Cowbell to make is entrance.

    Merkin Mania:

Held blank as we went around completing 5 Merkins, 5 Diamonds, 5 Wide, 5 Curcin (Think that’s right), 5 staggered either side, 5 T-Merkin and Q remembered the 5 Tempo Merkin at the close of the beatdown after Mary..

    Global warming:

PAX basically assumed the Al Gore position shuffling 360 degrees as the Q stated a called exercise to 10OYO. 8 count body builders, jump squats, wife pleasers and donkey kickoffs air style..

    Quarter pounder:

Because real men eat Beef! Take that Burger King 👊🏼. I think it’s 100% all beef patty? Who knows? I do however know there were no animals harmed in the making of this beatdown as well as no methane released.. Then again the PAX may need to be questioned on that one.

Actual quarter pounder, 25 Burpees sprint 25 yards return backpedaling, 50 Merkins sprint 50 yards return back pedaling, 75 Mountain climbers sprint 75 yards return back pedaling and close with 100 squats sprint 100 yards return back pedaling..

    6mins of Mary

15IC Nolan Ryan’s each side, 15IC 100s, 15IC LBCs, 15IC flutter kicks and finished with 15IC hello dolly!!

Count off, Announcements, COT and appreciation to Steve for closing us in prayer!!

And that completes my trifecta Q and BB for the week gentlemen!!

    Till the next Gloom 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼!!

  • Site Q default!

Well, well, well, our very own Head of the headlock and Captain of CSAUP Mr. BUSHWACKER himself ghosted our PAX at the Scramble on this Gloom.. No worries though, with a solid PAX of numbers posting this week at each AO it inspired this site Q to go ahead and grab and go…

    Brief warmup

10-15IC SSH, Toe touches, Grass grabbers, leg swings and Cowbell skips..

    thang

Although the PAX moseyed together for roughly a mile, we broke off into three separate groups. Steve and Waterpik logged 4.8 to 5 miles and the Core PAX roughly 4.4 while the Caboose consisting of YHC finished with 3.8ish to 4.

count, name, COT and YHC prayed us out.

Thanks for the commitment to post and till the next Gloom 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼!!

  • Welcome to F3 “Fletch”!

YHC intended on posting the pre-miler however the DOTD had other intentions. Steve and Bushwacker should understand if there are any questions.. Upon arrival Jose10k with his ridiculous count on consecutive post could be seen pacing the trailhead looking for an area to complete his ISI for the day, however with nothing visible to complete the task we engaged in some conversation, which allowed us to reminisce about the Ragnar experience sometime back.. Pre-milers returned and the arrival of the rest PAX swelled to 12 with an addition of (FNG) Fletch..

    warmup

IC mixer of 10 rep count and 20 rep count.

GM, Toe touches, Windmills, SSH, Mummy kicks, Hillbilly’s, Imperial Walkers.

    thang

Moseyed to the Taj Mahal for a partner routine called 4×4. P1 dropped to Plank position completed 4 Merkins and 8 Mountain climbers while P2 moseyed around the Taj. R/R 2 rounds. Upon completion moseyed over to the back parking lot behind the courthouse garage. At this section YHC laid out the next series consisting of 7 Diamonds. Using the parking curbs PAX started with 7 (28) Burpees at each part of the diamond or square adding 7 to each cycle there after. 14 (56) jump squats, 21 (84) Merkins, 28 (112) LBCs, 35 (140) 100s with time pressed called an audible on the final 2. Moseyed back to the rock pile for a coupon retrieval with 42 curls for the girls and 49 chest presses.. Returned to the flag for the count, announce and COT with Jose 10k taking us out in prayer..

👏🏼 To Einstein for the headlock on FNG Fletch..

Appreciate you fine men following along and starting this day with a beatdown!!

    👊🏼👍🏼✌🏼till the next Gloom!

  • Maximum Monday at the Marsh!

YHC arrived at the Marsh to a few PAX chatting around on the court and Jose10k maxing our on his ISI for the day at the end he playground equipment. This seems to be the better of places for Jose10k who informed the PAX he usually completes the ISI in his attic of all places. Not sure if he is considering a career change, but any a/c guys out there looking for duct assistance may want to give him a shout.. 😂 PAX quickly swelled to the perfect of numbers at 8 too allow for the Qs brief instruction on what would take place on this Gloom..

    Nolan Richardson:

warmup20 IC Windmills and American Hammers short Mosey to the Elementary school and back.

    Partnered up

All counts cumulative P1 backpedals 50 yards and completes 1 Bobby Hurley then jogs back picking up count from P2.

    150 Burpees

    300 Squats

    150 Big Bit situps

    300 Arm Circles

    150 Merkins

    300 Imperial walkers

PAX performed exceptionally completing with 1 min to spare. YHC can not help but T👏🏼 a few men for their proper form and modified agility. Waterpik has consistently proven the proper form of a squat, while Grover in is hateful youth blew through the Imperial walkers.

We circled up for the count, announce and YHC prayed us into the day..

Always enjoy starting the day with F3 brethren.. Thanks for following my lead..

    👊🏼👍🏼✌🏼 Till the next Gloom!

  • Substitute Thursday!

With a call coming in @ 0500 from Jose 10k it could only mean one thing. Can you cover the Q? Well sure, however I must T-👏🏼 both him and Speedy for both still posting even though they knew the arrival would be 10-15 mins behind. So with nothing planned YHC stalled as long as he could to allow time for the late arrival..

    warmup

Toe touch’s, Windmills, Torso twist, SSH, Butt Kicks all IC to 20. Lap around the walking trail. Leg lunges for about 30 yards..

All PAX ran the standard route minus the loop through Hermitage with the exception of Waterpik and Cowbell getting in some lagniappe. Cowbell had no time for the warmup taking off for 45 minutes of straight running. Sir Wacker graciously paced with the Q the whole run, and another T-👏🏼 to Cobra for pushing through as well. Jose10k and Speedy caught the PAX on the return.

Returned with some time to knockout Mary. 20 IC Crunchy Frog, Little Manny crunches, 100s, and 20 Merkins OYO..

Thanks to Cowbell for praying is out..

    Till the next Gloom 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼!!

  • Millennial meltdown!!

Seven PAX posted at Grandmothers House on this 95% humid Gloom to welcome the YHC. With a weeks forecast full of downpours and showers Q decided to put together a routine that would keep the PAX dry under the pavilion. The Lexicon available on F3 nation has always proven to bring impactful beatdowns throughout my tenure and this morning would prove no different. T-👏🏼 to Jose 10k on his continued dedication of consecutive post and YHC only sees this coming to an end only once he is thrust back into the classroom. Also much respect to the young Pixie Stix for his discipline in posting multiple times a week for the last few months.. Glad to see a young man step up in such a way.. So here is the meltdown..

    warmarama20IC

Cherry pickers, Torso twist, Toe touches, Butt kicks, SSH and lap around the trailhead.

    The Millennial (Check the Lexicon)

R1: Merkins/Chill cut til each group reach there 100 reps.
    R2: Air squats/Chill Cut

    R5: Sister Mary Katherine/Leg lifts

    R6: Big Boy sit-ups/Leg lifts

    R7: Donkey kick offs/Flutter kicks

    R8: Jump squats/Flutter kicks

    R9: Little Manny Crunches/Flutter kicks

R10: Burpees with only Bushwacker and Pixie Stix completing as time expired.. Great pace gentlemen..

With guys needing to bail quickly, we sped through namarama, countarama and COT..

YHC closed out for the day!!!

Appreciate you men posting and keeping me accountable 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼 Till the next Gloom!!

  • Flip and Roll!!

Rolled up to Jose10k, Band Camp and Russo waiting to get in the pre miler. Pre-thangers quickly doubled and we moseyed our usual destination to get things going. Arrived back at the AO to a swarm of men awaiting the beatdown, each Wednesday of the last few months has proved to be well attended with numbers usually surpassing 15 plus and today proved no different. YHC has great anticipation of what next week will provide as the young “Pope” has committed to his VQ.. Look forward to attending that one and encourage all to post in support of this great young leader.. Well knowing all the awesome coupon options around Covington, Q decided to pair a few for this morning’s beatdown. So let’s Flip and Roll gentlemen..

    warmup

10IC Toe touches, Torso twist, Arm Circles and Cherry Pickers

20IC SSH, Mummy Kicks, Imperial walkers

    thang

Pax selected 9 cylinder blocks from behind the trailhead office and proceeded around the block to our parking lot with our 2 Flipping tires. Pax broke into two groups. YHC called named exercise for one group which would be completed while the other group would work with the tires.

    First set:

Group 1 did block extender squats while group 2 flipped the tires about 30yards down and back alternating back and forth with both tires. Flapjack

    Second set:

Group 1 did curls while group 2 rolled the tires down alternating with 2 men at the other end working in some core. Flapjack

    Third set:

Group 1 Tri-extensions while group 2 did 2 min intervals of tire flips back and forth across from each other.

    Fourth set:

Group 1 Chest press while group 2 rolled and bounced the tires off a local establishment wall, which hopefully was not occupied because if so the other side of that wall may have sounded like it was coming down with the impact. YHC quickly saw the destructive side of Jose 10k on this one as he thrust the tire over the railroad footing returning as if he was trying to destroy and rollover Zoolander like a locomotive.. 😬😬

    Fifth and final set:

Group 1 Kettle block swings with multiple versions thanks to Bean for the alternating arms on this one. Group 2 individually flipped the tires 30 yards each way back and forth as their teams did Mountain climbers and leg raises respectively on each end..

Ending with 3 mins we recovered as we walked back to the AO and returned our coupons..

    Count, name and COT

Reminded the PAX of some F2 tomorrow by the Barley oak and the new AO kickoff on Friday at the top of the parking garage.

Much thanks to Bart for praying us out into the Gloom.. Always enjoy the glooms with you men!!

Great job men hope you got your 💰💰 worth 🤑🤑..

    Till the next Gloom 👍🏼👊🏼✌🏼!!

  • Stairs? Elevators? Nah Escalator!!

    https://youtu.be/GnC1YyBCTMs

While the only water that would be had on this Monday at the Marsh would be experienced in perspiration. This was proven as well when Zoolander attempted to grab a swig from the water fountain to no avail. The city apparently feels the basketball court can open, but bring your own hydration because the fountain is still closed, however one may have a chance in the bathroom under the faucet..

Nice to see newer guys in Bird and Cobra posting to an AO often only consisting of Waterpik, Steve and Bushwacker.. It is great to see these newer men of F3 posting at different AOs and bringing their energy and vigor to start the week..

    Warmup

10IC Arm circles, Cherry pickers, Air presses, Toe Touches, Grass grabbers, Windmills closing with Happy Jacks..

    Thang (Escalator)

    Floor 1

    10 pull-ups, 20 Burpees, 30 Merkins, 40 Squats, 50 Lunges.

Run to Woodlake school and back..

    Floor 2

10 pull-ups, 20 Eight count body builders, 30 Hand release Merkins, 40 Jump Squats, 50 Sister Mary Katherines.

Run to Woodlake school and back.

    Floor 3

    10 pull-ups, 20 Groiners, 30 Shoulder taps, 40 Big boy sit-ups, 50 Flutter kicks.

Run to Woodlake school and back..

T 👏🏼 to all the men for putting in the work and taking the opportunity to pickup the remains of a weekend at the park. Still puzzles YHC why revelers still see it proper to leave their trash scattered amongst are beautiful grounds when a trash can is within reach 🤔🤯..

Thanks for the post men, 👊🏼👍🏼✌🏼till the next Gloom!!
