Filling the Void – from Mahatma
Got a call from Minuterice asking what AO YHC was heading to so we could meet up. After a quick check of the Q sheet there was a Void at El Diablo so I figured it was a good opty to Co-Q as team “rice”!
Minuterice gave some recommendations then decided he would take the warm up which consisted of several dynamic style stretch and leg exercises to get us going. After roughly 7 minutes he passed it on.
Off to the bleachers – push up climb then crawl down to snake run the bleachers from right to left side finishing with 3 burpees – hold plank until 6 was in plank add 30 seconds finish with 5 Merkins
Move to the gym wall:
2 rounds of the running man to rail squats
2 rounds of 20 second balls to the wallMove to the playground:
3 rounds of pull ups: 3,6,9 reps each followed by a run to the tennis court 5,10,15 Merkins then a lap around the court. If you were there you’ll understand.Dr W’s (not new to all)

10/17 heard the callout of WarEagle to pax to keep the Momentum of West Metairie area beatdown going. Saw a need to fill the Q – called Minuterice and got his hard commit on my drive home Tue night. Game plan was set in motion to create a beatdown that minimized running yet provided enough cardio to think you did.

YHC arrived 5 minutes early and decided to review an article and got side tracked, looking up it had just turned 5:30. With haste YHC jumped out the truck, grabbed 2 blocks from the back and headed to the cage. The Knots crew was already peeling off, and 6 pax awaited…..after a quick disclaimer (while tying shoes) we headed to the field.Warm Up variation of count:

KnOTer’s aside, it seemed as if most of the Pax today ran with someone at some point. Goes to show that we all cross each others paths at some point.
COT involved praying for those who are suffering and going through tribulations.

Descend the Ladder con Roca – from Bolt
Warmorama of the usual; Vagabond erroneously thought Kenna Brah had the Q and I’m sure regretted showing up for another of my musically schizophrenic playlists.
The Thang: Descending Ladder with a rock (10 reps/exercise down to 9, 8, etc. reps/exercise): Squat (coupon), OH press, Curls, chest press, tricep press.
Begin at first tree along side the parking lot facing the gym (it was here that Mahatma took off to second tree to do exercise one—not the directions!), Carry rock to second tree for second exercise where we all paid five burpee penalty for the transgression.At fifth tree plank on the six, turnaround and head back the opposite way with one less rep/exercise finishing at starting point. Rinse/repeat until we’ve descended the ladder.
It was prior to starting round six that I introduced the skip exercise rule: call out, “skip” and roll Deca die of pain for our fate that replaces the skipped exercise, advance to next tree and resume the ladder. Mr. Rogers went first, followed by several others; we did ultimately finish the ladder in time to return rocks and circle up at the flag for Rochamburpee until time: winner does five merkins, loser does three burpees.
