YHC hates the cold but needed accountability, so I took the Q on the coldest day of the week. YHC was joined by three additional PAX who don’t seem nearly as bothered by temps in the mid-30s.
The warmup on the nearby pad consisted of Abe Slowgotas, Imperial Walkers, Thai Fighters, Parker Peter/Peter Parker’s, and Mountain Climbers. After MCs, PAX were instructed to recover to their feet, but a discussion/debate was started by Fracsac about whether there was anywhere else to recover to besides one’s feet. YHC had PAX complete 10 plank jacks then recover to their sixes for LBCs, but this did not resolve the issue. Moving on, 20 SSH and 5 burpees to round out the warmup.
Mosey to JPAS to get a block. YHC read an article a while back which noted women tend to live longer bc they engage in more compound movements. YHC feels this is false based on absolutely no science, but saw no harm in a 7s workout comprised of compound movements.
