A cold federal holiday in City Park? YHC was prepared to have to share coupons with the crowd that would show up for a 33* beatdown at the Children’s Museum!

At 5:29:45 AM CST, ThumbWar showed up to keep me from trying talk myself out of heading home and climbing back into the fartsack.

Instead we embarked on a (rather laid back) program of 11s that was as much Second F as it was First F.

WarmOrama:
– Short mosey around the artwork
– SSH IC
– Windmills of questionable cadence
– Low Slow Squats
– TIE Fighters
– Hillbillys.

Thang: 11s
Coupled a “Squat thruster press thing” at the bottom with Salt Shakers at the top. Overhead carry up, lunge walk carry down.

An easy-going tempo that allowed for more conversation than normal left us with a few minutes that was too short for a Route 66, but too long for just Mary, so we grabbed blocks, moseyed over to the foundry and added Dips, Pullups, BBSUs, Windshield Wipers, Hello Dollys and Wife Pleasers while watching the ISS fly over about 250 miles above us.

Standard wrap followed by coffee / mini-convergence at CCs.

All the good stuff in a travel-sized beatdown!
