THE SCENE
Rolled into City Park under the cover of darkness. The Peristyle was glowing—lit in a deep cherry red hue that gave the morning an almost cinematic feel. As I pulled in, Frack and Chips were already boots on the ground, shovel flags planted. Chips called out, “Double flag day,” and Frack quickly corrected—“It’s Pi Day.”
3/14. Game on.
The theme revealed itself.

THE WARMUP (Peristyle)
Quickly gathered the PAX, delivered the disclaimer (eventually…), and got to work:
• Imperial Walkers
• Grass Grabbers
• Abe Vigodas
• Bat Wings
Then came a crowd favorite (or not):
Thunder Thighs – 7 exercises, each side, ~10 reps IC:
Up/Downs → Forward Kicks → Backward Kicks → Full Kicks → Clockwise Circles → Counterclockwise → Bicycles
A proper wake-up call.

Chips initially called Peach Cobbler… quickly overruled (not a pie). Audible made → Apple Pie
In honor of Pi (2πr… close enough for F3 math):
Double Exercise Route 66
Start at 11, work down to 1:
• Merkins
• Squats
________________________________________
FRACK’S ROOTS (DAKOTA STYLE)
Rhubarb Pie (education included… still unclear what rhubarb actually is)
Return Route 66 (ascending this time):
Start at 1 → up to 11
• Squats
• Merkins

TOOL WALL – CALF WORK
Revit’s Pick: Pecan Pie
→ Bonus insight: order matters when baking pecan pie… and apparently in life too.
________________________________________
MARY – GREAT LAWN
Catfish: Cherry Pie
→ Frack reminded us of Warrant (as he should)
→ 5 Burpees for “Sweet Cherry Pie”
QIC Audible: Sweet Potato Pie
→ 5 more Burpees (because why not)

COT
Returned to the flag, stronger than we started.
A little wiser on pies… slightly less certain about rhubarb.

MOLESKIN
• Strong showing by the PAX on a cool, dark morning
• Pi Day delivered both math confusion and physical clarity
• Burpees remain undefeated
• Cobbler is not pie (official ruling upheld)

COUNT-OFF / NAME-O-RAMA
Completed.
ANNOUNCEMENTS / PRAYERS
Offered.

CLOSING THOUGHT
Sometimes the workout writes itself.
Sometimes all it takes is showing up, leaning into the moment, and letting the theme carry the day.
3.14 never hurt so good.
