When The Rooster Crows – from Steve

As Russo put it last week, we’re going the “rushed and factual” route as we dip our toes back into backblast territory here. Gotta start somewhere…

Another Tuesday, another gathering of Granny’s faithful trio. There was some chatter of wives mowing the lawn (no, that’s not a euphemism) as well as Russo’s foray into Hulu’s library and how all these movie reboots (Predator, Running Man, Superman, etc.) are faring (not good).

And yeah we walked (a fair amount actually), as we critiqued Tom Cruise’s running style.

But we did do some work: at every light pole on the trace, we stopped for:

10x hand release merkins
10x jump squats
10x SMK
10x Peter Parkers

I think we skipped the Peter Parkers and headed over to the bench for 45 sec AMRAP of the following exercises (with some Freak Nasties and Derkins x12IC between):

Bulgarians
Step Downs
Pistol drop into lunge
Out and back leg swings
Single leg glute bridge / wife pleasers

Again, YHC skipped the last one (two?) but I’m leaving it here in case I need to rinse and repeat this at a future date.

Rapid fire Mary and COT where Russo closed us out with prayers for thankfulness and contentment, as well as healing and grace for Pik’s family member and Coachella. Truly appreciate you two for the consistency and the push (and the laughs).
