Warm-up:

Moseyed to the rock pile where we got into a tight circle for: SSH x 31, IW x 15, Peter Parker x 15, Parker Peter x 15, Shoulder Taps x 15, Mountain Climbers x 15, Abe Vigodas x 10, Low Slow Squats x 15, Tempo Merkins x 15

The Thang:

Grab a rock and mosey toward the Pavilion along the outer trail. We stopped near the trash can and lined up facing each other along the trail, creating a nice run through for the residents of Old Metairie.

10! – Squat Thrusts, Curls, Bench Press – Start with 10 reps each (in cadence), then 9, then 8….down to 1 rep each.

Mosey to the hill

Jacob’s Ladder – start by the dog park with 1 Rock Burpee or Blockee or Rockee. Run con roca over the hill and back. Then do 2 Rockees. Continue and finish after 7 Rockees.

• The pax was in sync for the SSH, except Hand Grenada. If you know him, you know he Side Straddle Hops to his own beat.
• Mahatma had a lot to say about todays reps to which I quote: “Repetition is the architect of accomplishment.”
• Speaking of Architects, isn’t he the site Q at Rock City? What exactly are the duties of the site Q? Do they normally show up to the workouts?
• No matter what Hand Grenada says, the Rock Burpees at the hill were my idea.
• The younger generations were well repped today. We sons and nephews posting.
