The Classic Lemon Drop Martini
Yield: 1 cocktail
Glass: Martini or Coupe glass
Ingredients
Vodka: 2 oz (standard or citron-infused vodka)
Fresh Lemon Juice: 1 oz
Triple Sec or Cointreau: ½ oz to 1 oz
Simple Syrup: ½ oz to ¾ oz (adjust to preferred sweetness)
Garnish: Superfine sugar for the rim and a lemon twist
Instructions
Chill and Rim the Glass: Place your glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes. Once chilled, rub a lemon wedge along the outer rim and dip it into a plate of superfine sugar to coat.
Combine Ingredients: Add the vodka, lemon juice, triple sec, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Shake: Shake vigorously for about 15–20 seconds until the shaker is frosty-cold to the touch.
Strain: Double strain (if you prefer no pulp) into your prepared sugar-rimmed glass.
Garnish: Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink and drop it in or perch it on the rim
