Yhc pulled in and received a text from Bushwhacker informing me that he was on Cowbell time this morning and that he’d catch up. We picked up Bean on the way. I had a personal goal this morning so I pulled away from the group. I rounded the park and finally saw Bushwacker. We picked up Will.i. Am to finish off the run.

Gessers Stretch It Out – from Mobydick
A chilly morning at the Gipper. 4 geezers showed up to make an average age of 64.5 years. YHD being senior senior Qd. Since there seemed to be a few back issues in the crowd I elected to guide us in a vast variety of streches and core. To keep the youngest amongst us happy a couple of long block circuit mosseys thrown in. All seemed to benifit from the departure from the usual sweaty beat down.
Closure with COT and a prayer of gratitude for the strength we have been given. -
Round Robin at The Gipper – from Einstein
Cool in the mid-30s at The Gipper
Round Robin was the order for the day as the Q sheet was empty
Each Pax chose a warmup excercise. Then, off to the coupon cache to grab a block.
Each Pax chose a block movement, after everyone had a turn – we ran around the block – repeat. -
A smorgasbord beat down! – from BBQ
It was a team effort. The mighty four rotated exercises and had a wonderful beat down. There were so many and I can not recap. All good! Barely Legal added two runs around the block for some aerobics. COT and prayer out by Legal. It was a fun PAX.

Therapy – from Jose10k
Deja vu? I started the morning like last week: alone. I felt like Russo, all alone. This worked out for me . I needed the time to clear my head, find some inner peace, found a pace I haven’t had in about 3 years. Maybe the 10k doesn’t have any more runners I thought…Until I turned the corner at mile 4.25 and ran across Legal and Tarheel. So there are still runners at the 10k!!!

BLIMPS in Covington – from Fletch
Warmup: 15 IC, Self Love, Grass Grabber’s , Merkins, Arm Circles (forward and back), Windmills, Plank Jacks, High Jack High Jill, Imperial Walkers, Shoulder Tap Merkins.
Thang: 5 Burpees, 10 Lunges, 15 Imperial Walkers, 20 Merkins, 25 Plank Jacks, 30 Squats. Mosey to the caboose and do Burpee’s. Mosey to the next corner and do Burpee’s and Lunges. Mosey to the Taj Mahal and do Burpee’s, Lunges and Imperial Walkers. Around this time Mobydick went lame on us and couldn’t complete the run portion so we did side shuffles and back pedals between sets, in the parking lot, to complete the BLIMPS. We then made our way to the rock pile for 3 sets of bent over rows, curls, presses, tricep extensions and round the world ( rotate weight around cranium) both directions, all without putting the weight down. Moseyed back to the Gipper and a set of LBC’s and Flutter Kicks. Fletch prayed us out. Thanks for the Q. See you in the gloom. -
