Short Sprints – from Rudy

Instead of going longer, we went shorter. 4 Sprinters and 2 Walkers in the chilly, yet still humid gloom. Car said starting temp of 68 degrees. Start with a 3 lap warm up to get the legs a bit looser.

The Thing: Sprint Ladder
2x 20 yd
2x 40 yd
2x 60 yd
2x 80 yd
2x 100 yd
2x 110 yd

Then back down. Sprint one way (really sprint – good form, all the way to the cone). Mosey back and recover as needed, to ensure each sprint can be done right.

Mayhem made it up, down, and most of the way back up again. Nice showing by Kilo on the day after giving blood! (reminder to all PAX: Give Blood!). Colonel Mustard and Rudy got about half way back up the ladder.

All told, YHC’s watch reported just over a mile of sprinting, 3 miles total on the day.
