Cold Q – from Kilo

Apparently New Orleans closes if the temperatures get below 40 degrees but F3 is rain or shine, hot or cold so 7 brave pax came out to do some work.

The air was cold, the wind calm, as the few souls slowly got out of their warm cars to gather in the gloom. Everyone thought Mahatma was the Q but surprise! it was YHC. We warmed up with a little Indian run around the track and then off to do some thangs.

Thang 1: 5 burpees, 10 SSH, snake the bleachers, 4 burpees, 10 SSH, mosey back, 3-2-1 ladder down.

Thang 2: slow mosey to the gazebo, curl the benches, do some 1 leg step ups, overhead press the benches, squat the benches then bear crawl the first set of parking spots

Thang 3: lunge walk the next set of parking spots to the gym, mosey around the gym then 5 rounds of a Burpee ring of fire, calf raises, more burpees, repeat, push-up ladder up the steps then hold a chair in honor of the upcoming Winter Olympics and the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team “the legs feed the wolf”.

Thang 4: Mosey to the other gazebo, dips and squats, curl more benches then off to the playground for some pull-ups and knee raises.

Indian mosey back to the flag with a little glute bridge to finish it off.

COT: prayers for Vagabond’s trip this week, all the Pax battling, and for us to see the human dignity in our homeless brothers and sisters.
