The Renni Block Party – from Mayhem

No Bacon. Protest. No WOR here. Grab a block and let’s move.

With Bacon relocated, we headed to the median for a block-assisted WOR: hamstrings, Grass Grabbers, Imperial Walkers, PP/PP, Toe Taps and Tie Fighters. All using our new best friend, the block. Take care of her and she will take care of you. The two will be close for the full 45 minutes. And… most importantly… do not drop her. Oh, look, here comes Mr. Rogers.

Then came the rifle-carry Indian walk down the street. And now we work. Odd poles brought thrusters, even poles brought blockees. Turns out carrying concrete wasn’t enough so we needed to exercise too. Triple says we should lift heavy things to make big muscles. I agree. 7 of us had a block. He brought a satchel of sorts – not sure what was inside.

Off to the stairs for 3-round partner work. One PAX traveled up with the block: 10 curls → 10 squats → 10 rows, then down the ramp. Partner stayed behind rotating BBSUs, block Flutters and Mountain Climbers. Switch and repeat.

Back of the museum came Modified Sunday Mornings: People’s Chair with 10 block overhead presses, followed by Donkey Kicks with hands on the block and a balls to the wall press.

Finished with some block-assisted Mary and into COT.

Announcements: Children’s Museum 10/4, Convergence 10/17, RCR in February.

And congratulations to Vagabond, now 57 years and 1 day old. Somehow he continues aging at the alarming rate of one day per day.

No Bacon. Plenty of blocks. Thanks for the blocs Fracsac.

Thoughts and prayers (among others) for our brother who lost a dear friend suddenly.
