  • Grandmas Century club!!

Grandmas house produced 3 PAX on this Gloom. Having introduced the Millennial at the Gipper last Wednesday I figured Mandeville’s AO could use a dose of something similar, so the Q dove into the exercise list and spotted Four corners escalated.

    Warmup

    15 IC WM

    15 IC GM

    20 IC SSH

    20 IC BK

    20 IC Forward/Reverse AC

    20 IC HKnees

Moseyed around the corner to the Treen center for the explanation of our beatdown. Consisted of only 4 exercises escalating  around the building as we stopped at each corner. Example first exercise  was the Merkin 10, 20, 30 and 40 on the last corner. Second was the Flutter kick. Third Squats and the finale the Burpee.. Doing the count equals a 💯 per exercise hence the name Century provided by Coconuts as we worked our way to completion. Q felt as though the beatdown was successful upon the panting of his own breath. With 8 mins remaining we recovery walked around the corner back to the AO finishing with a casual Mosey.. Needing 4 mins for the closing of our beatdown the Q introduced a little music inspired by Maverick and Grundy on previous leads. “Let the Bodies hit the floor” by Drowning Pool was the selection. While holding plank when they said let the bodies hit the floor each PAX would complete a donkey kick and when each number was mentioned it represented a Merkin. Total 26 Donkey kicks and 21 additional Merkins upon completion.. Butt Splice mentioned how the song seemed forever and no one could deny his obvious observation..

    Counted off, announcements COT

Q prayed us out into the day!

Appreciate the post and allowing me to lead my Century Brothers!!

    👊🏻👍🏻✌🏻

  • Vegas Gloom

YHC stole Frac Sac’s thunder, so he had to produce.  So for the second-to-gloomiest Mothership, and expecting Reluctant Yankee to show up, YHC had an homage to Side Effects and Bubba with a tip to YHC’s first Q at the Birdcage (45 minutes of Mary).  After a lame disclaimer, the PAX were off to the Peristyle for the first Circle of Pain, where YHC produced not one, but two decks of cards:

    • SSHs 52xIC (Rudy, clever guy that he is, had lots of Mumblechatter for this)
    • Imperial Walkers 30xIC
    • Low Slow Squats 29.75xIC, with a segue into
    • Squat Pulses 10xIC
    • Peter Parkers 25xIC
    • Mountain Climbers 25xIC
    • Parker Peters 25xIC
    • Merkins 25xIC (get those justifiers and chests to the ground, gentlemen)

The Deck of Death.  Let the games begin.  Les jeux sont faits.  Alea iacta est.  Yada, yada, yada.  Spades were burpees, hearts were real Freddy Mercuries, diamonds were jump squats and clubs were merkins.  For the two jokers, a tip to Side Effects: balls to the wall on the columns in the Peristyle for twice as many BTTW merkins as the last card (one was a Queen, the other a six).  The PAX had the choice of letting Aces be one or thirteen (or, if Reluctant Yankee had been here, I suppose, fifteen); the PAX chose poorly: it was only one.  So that was 91 burpees, 91 dying cockroaches, 91 jump squats, 91 regular merkins and 36 BTTW merkins.

For a breather, the PAX moseyed around the great lawn for round two of the Deck of Death along the benches in front of the Peristyle.  Clubs were box jumps, diamonds were dips, hearts were crunchy frogs and spades were sprints across the Great Lawn (run past the number of the palm trees equal to the spade drawn).  The PAX got through only 24 cards before Rudy started to kvetch about the approaching hour, so the PAX finished off with 30 dying cockroaches, one for each remaining card.

[Note to self: to finish two decks, the Q probably needs one round to be Mary with little to no pausing for the six.]  Back to the flag for announcements and COT.  Thanks, PAX, for pushing this old guy, Jingle Vader

  • Inaugural Sunnyside!

No gloom this beautiful morning as PAX and 2.0s gathered at the Brees family playground.

Circle up for a an overview of F3 and warmup.

    • SSH x 20 IC
    • Then we had 2.0s demonstrate proper “flossing” technique, to which we added cadence.  Tclaps to Peppa and Gabrielle for exemplary flossing.
    • Flossing, 4 count cadence x20.
    • Forward arm circles IC x 10, reverse arm circles IC x 10
    • Windmills IC x 10.

    THANG 1

Mosey to the playground. Split into 2 groups.

First group, PAX Peter Parker until all 2.0s ride the zipline. 2nd group does 10 pullups.  Then flapjack.

    THANG 2

PAX carry a 2.0 on their back across the park to a tree.  All 2.0s climb or are lifted into the tree.  Photo Op.

PAX carry 2.0 to benches at the fountain. All PAX and 2.0s do 20 dips IC.

Mosey to the track.  Alternate run/jog to the gazebo.

At the Gazebo, PAX and 2.0s do right leg step ups 10 IC, then left leg 10 IC.

PAX carry 2.0s to the second gazebo.  Incline merks.  10 IC.  Then 10 more IC.

Mosey back to the playground. for ….

    THANG 3 -the Caterpillar.

PAX shoulder to shoulder in high plank.  2.0s army crawl down the “tunnel.” Last PAX runs to the front of the tunnel and 2.0s keep crawling.  The caterpillar moves forward.

Finally, we circled up for F2&3. Count, and Name-o-rama.  Some PAX picked their 2.0s names, since their wives probably did the picking the first time around. Some 2.0s emphatically picked their own names.

We wrapped with circle and prayer, then regrouped at the Coffee and Beignet spot for well deserved powdered sugar goodness.

  • Rain, Respect, and Route 66

Rain pelted the gloom as five wise men – the RESPECT PAX – formed around the flag.  They knew a beatdown in the rain was to be savored and not avoided.  They knew as long as the mind was moving and counting, the rain did not matter.  First, DISCLAIMER.  Now for the thang:

For the Warm Up, mosey to the seawall in front of the fountain and SSH x 25, Sun Gods x 10 (both directions), and Abe Vigoda x 10.  Another short mosey to shake off the rain and Peter Parker x 15, Parker Peter x 15, Hillbillies x 15, and Woodchucks x 10.

1st ROUTE 66 (descending): burpies out and jump squats back

2nd ROUTE 66 (descending): crab cakes out and lunges back

3rd ROUTE 66 (descending): dying cockroach out and flutter kicks back

Back to the flag for COUNTOFF, NAMEORAMA, ANNOUNCEMENTS, INTENTIONS, PRAYER

This was the first PAX at OKWATA that consisted of only 50+ year olds, as far as anyone can remember.  YHC appreciates and congratulates these wise men for coming out on a rainy, windy morning for F3.

  • Wait… One More Thang… at The Skinny

    Pre-Thang

YHC has been posting at Rock City on Mondays, but YHC never forgets where his very first AO, Uptown.  YHC received a text the night before from Reluctant Yankee reminding YHC has the Q.  Few minutes before the Q, YHC had to scope out the AO because some yoga masters have been working out by the Band Stand where YHC wants part of the workout to be.  At 5:15 a.m., no yoga masters in sight, but when we got there with our warm-ups at 5:31 am., they were there.  YHC had to modify part of the beatdown.  26 PAX managed to meet up on a cool, dry Monday morning.  At 5:30, YHC gave his standard disclaimer and off the PAX.

    Warm-ups

Moseyed to the band stand and did the following in cadence:

    SSHs x 20

    Imperial Walkers x 20

    Windmills x 15

    The Thang

Starting off at the first light post at the Oak Alley in front of the Band Stand, each Pax had to do the following:

Round 1 – 5 burpees, then moseyed to the 3rd light post and did 50 scissor kicks, moseyed to the 5th light post and did 50 squats, moseyed right before the track with 5 more burpees, then run a lap from the track to the parking lot then back towards the shelter by the Band Stand.  Stopped by the shelter and did 50 dips.

Round 2 – rinse and repeat but shaved off the reps with 4 burpees, 40 scissor kicks, 40 squats, 4 burpees, 40 dips.

Round 3 – rinse and repeat but shaved off another set of reps with 3 burpees, 30 scissor kicks, 30 squats, 3 burpees, 30 dips.

Round 4 – rinse and repeat with 2 burpees, 20 scissor kicks, …..

    Round 5 – rinse and repeat with 1 burpee, 10 ….

Each lap is approximately 0.25 mile.  In total, the PAX toughed out 30 burpees, 150 scissor kicks, 150 squats,  150 dips, and approximately 1.25 miles run.

T-claps to 86, Jadaveon, Mariah, and El Wire for setting the pace and finished the 5 rounds in approximately 20 minutes.  The rest of the Pax finished at a much faster time than YHC had anticipated and averaged about 5 minutes per round.  Strong work by everyone.

    Round of Mary

Pax circled up in front of the band stand.  With the help of the Pax…..

    Medulla – Dying Cockroach x 15 IC

    Angie’s List – LBCs x 15 IC

Bartman – SLOOOOOW American Hammers x 15 IC

Reluctant Yankee – Low Country Crab x 15 IC

    Sandbar – Mission Impossible Plank

    El Wire – Leg Raises x 15

Mariah – SLOOOOOOW Flutter Kicks x 15 IC

    More Thang

After the Round of Mary, YHC noticed the yoga masters left the band stand.  And because the Pax finished the rounds so quickly, YHC did one more round starting at the back of the band stand. (this is what YHC wanted to do from the very beginning).  The Pax finished the day with 20 box jumps, climbed over the stage, moseyed to the first light post at the Oak Alley with 2 burpees, moseyed to the 3rd light post with 20 scissor kicks, moseyed to the 5th light post with 20 squats, moseyed right before the track with 2 burpees, ran the lap like before and stopped at the shelter with 20 dips.  Waited for the Six and did 15 x IC right leg step up, then 15 x IC left leg step up.  Finally, moseyed back to the flag at 6:15 a.m.

    COT

Count-O-Rama 26PAX, Name-O-Rama, announcements, intentions.  Our thoughts and prayers for I Love You Man’s niece, Brown Bag’s 7 weeks old baby, Hawgcycle’s mother and family, and all the victims in Panama City.  Thank You all again for the opportunity to lead.  The Pax motivates me everyday to push harder than I would ever do on my own.  SYITG

  • The Early Bird

They say, “The Early Bird Gets the Worm.” F3 Men must get lots of worms, because we get at it early for the morning beatdown. This morning YHC was looking to get it started extra earlier as he started the disclaimer at 5:28am. Several of the Pax quickly pointed out that he was jumping the gun, and he discovered that his watch was two minutes fast, so he backed off.

Two minutes later…disclaimer, 13 Pax in attendance as we took off on a mosey to the rock pile for the Warm-Up

    Special Guest Q

YHC noticed several weeks ago that his brother War Eagle was starting to look fairly comfortable at F3 workouts(as comfortable as one can be at a pre-sunrise beatdown). He was running with the Pax and never finishing as the 6, so YHC took it upon himself to sign up War Eagle to Q the Uptowner in November. Today was the morning for War Eagle to practice his cadence in anticipation of the big day. War Eagle was more than up to the task as for the first time in my year of F3, a rookie led the warm-up with no snide remarks or “helpful” comments from the Pax.

    SSH – 25

    Mountain Climbers – 20

    Imperial Walkers – 20

    Peter Parkers – 20

    Hillbillies – 20

    Parker Peters – 20

    Route 66

Time for everyone’s favorite moment of the work week – let’s grab a rock. We picked up our rocks and moseyed to the far tree line near the picnic benches for some Route 66. YHC enjoyed this workout so much on his last Q that he had to go for another round. Ascending tricep extensions starting with 1 at the first tree and ending with 11 extensions on the 11th tree. Let’s get those triceps burning.

    Suicide By Merkins

YHC set out 4 cones on the field this morning, so the Pax could begin and end the workout with some suicides. The Pax was grateful for YHC’s planning. The opening suicide was Suicide By Merkins. Run a standard suicide but at every cone, hit the ground, and knock out 10 merkins for a total of 80. Tricpes were burning more after the merkins.

    The Conveyor Belt

Mahatma-Ice made a call for the Pax to select rocks for Rock City as opposed to pebbles or skipping stones. YHC decided that Mahatma was right, so he led in a workout that would require the Pax to use everyone else’s rocks to challenge the whole Pax to up our rock size (unless you are Mahatma or Triple, for them this workout just led to a break from their normal boulder workouts). Two men were stationed at each of the trees that were used for Route 66. YHC would lead an exercise in cadence, following the exercise, the Pax will drop their rocks, and bear crawl to the next tree or rock pair. The Pax did exercises until everyone did one exercise at each tree.

The exercises for the conveyor belt:

    Shoulder Press

    Curls

    Rockettes

    Rows

    Curls

    Low Slow Squats

    Bench Press

    The Picnic Benches

From the tree line, we took our rocks to the picnic benches for a few exercises.

    Channing Tatums – 20

Sit down, Stand Up with Rock (Don’t ask it was dumb)

    Tatum Channgings – 20

    Sitting on the Wall

YHC always loves a good wall sitting on rock days. The Pax sat until YHC’s legs began to burn then started a 20 count of rows in cadence. Shook out our legs and then sat again. This round of sitting ended with 20 count curls in cadence.

    Standard Suicide

Back to the field for a good old fashioned suicide. YHC was slightly disappointed by the Pax’s speed on the suicide. Next time he Q’s there will be more suicides at Rock City.

    Mary

The Pax was instructed to deposit their rocks on the pile and return to the flag. YHC got a little confused during the workout due to the time being off on his watch. Instead of arriving at the flag 2 minutes late (6:15am to the world), he arrived 2 minutes early (6:11am). This meant 4 minutes of the Mary that he was hoping to avoid.

    LBC – 25

    Penguins – 20

    Hello Dolly – 15

    Wife Pleasers – 20

    The Conclusion

Count-Off, Name-0-rama, Announcements (2.0 workout on Saturday at 7:30am at Audubon Park and the Fight Club at 5:30am on Wednesday), Intentions, Prayer

Thanks for the opportunity to lead and a special thanks to War Eagle for his F3 growth. If anyone wants to guest Q at the Fight Club in Kenner let me know.

Rev Sox (I’ve never hated my name more than right now – Go Dodgers!)

  • Teamwork makes the DREAM WORK!

Your QIC had a really rough week with work and dealing with trolls on Social Media.  It’s crazy how people act so ugly and with such vitriol, when behind a computer screen and it has bled over into face to face encounters.  After witnessing the unraveling of civility in our society these past years, it’s so easy to withdraw from the fray and disconnect from making a positive difference.  Well, that is where we as the F3 Nation are creating leaders through physical training.

Leaders by nature are agents of change!  We must change for the betterment for ourselves, our families, our friends, and our community.  It all starts with taking the Daily Red Pill (DRP) and making the choice to get stronger physically, emotionally, mentally, relationally and spiritually.  Without the support and encouragement of my brothers of F3 NOLA, I could not be the leader I was designed to be.  So thankful and blessed to be part of this PAX’s Shield Lock!

Proverbs 27:17 (AMP) As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens and influences another through dialogue.

The goal today was to show the importance of having that Shield Lock or at least a Wing Man to keep us accountable.  So the theme was partner workouts!

    WARMUP

Proceded with the Disclaimer and had to pause so the PAX could finish their discussions with each other (not going to mention anyone), I completed my monologue and headed to the Great Lawn only to find it sopping wet.  I don’t have a problem getting soaking wet in a workout but I would like to start off dry so we headed to the Peristyle and Ovaled up.

20 SSH, 20 Hillbilly, 10 Abe Vigoda, 10 Arm Circles (Front and Back), 20 Red Bull Smurf Jacks (is that fast enough for you Rudy and Fracsac?), 10 Peter Parker Merkins, 10 Imperial Squat Walkers all In Cadence.

    THE THANG

We partnered up and took turns piggybacking to the front of NOMA which was about 1/4 mile.  From there we headed to the tree line for a modified Flora.  It was 100 hand slap merkins, 200 Leg throws and 200 squats / Al Gore.  This was a cumulative effort.

Embrace the Suck – As I was wearing my Go Ruck T-shirt, it was a foreshadowing of planned Suck.  The Suck consisted of 3 rounds of 6 SSH, 6 Merkins and 6 Jump Squats AMRAP for 3 minutes with a one-minute rest in between rounds.

With less than 10 minutes left, we slowsyed to the Great Lawn for a few minutes of Get on Up (lying on the ground and then standing up without using your hands) and the Rotiserrie (Boat to Superman back to Boat all the while with your arms and feet off the ground).

COUNTOFF, NAMERAMA AND CIRCLE OF TRUST

Welcome False Alarm!  The workouts don’t get easier, you just get stronger!  Prayers of thankfulness for positive health reports (Rudy’s sister) and life successes (Rudy’s daughter got accepted to Medical School), prayers of courage for all the people affected by Hurricane Michael and the ongoing recovery efforts,  prayers of strength for families with special needs (Tool and his family) and prayers for peace to know we are doing God’s will even when undeservingly criticized and verbally attacked.  Thank you for the honor and privilege of leading!

Abacus, Babyface, Bogey, False Alarm (FNG), Fracsac, Gabrielle, Green Screen, Gyro, Jingle Vader, King Kong, Left Eye, Mahatma Ice, Mambi, Medulla Oblongata, Out for Justice, Quick Draw, Rudy, Tool, Tube Steak, Two Yutes, Wille

  • Campus Tour

Twenty NOLA regulars trickled in as we hit 05:30. The disclaimer was given and we were off.

First stop was the terrace at St.  Charles and Calhoun for a quick warmup. 10 Burpees at the bottom, 20 LBC’s at the top and 30 Squats on the side. Rinse and repeat.

Next stop— Wolfpack Hill. A quick run to the top where we partnered up. Partner A ran down the ramp one level, touched the wall and back pedaled his way up the ramp, then sprinted back and flip flopped with partner B who was performing the prescribed exercise AMRAP. They were: Russian Twist, Monkey Humper, Real Freddie and Plank Jack. We planked for the six and were off to Wolfpack Mountain.

At the base we formed two columns and had a brisk Indian run to the top. We took a break with LBC’s X 51 IC.

Next we hit the stairs and moseyed to the benches at the flag area to finish up: RLSU x 10, Dips x 20, LLSU x 10, Derkins x 15 IC and to the flag for COT and shoutout by YHC.

    Good Times!

  • H8 – Pushing the Boundaries

What we can learn from History:

    The 1st H88/4/16 – 6 Pax – Amnesty – Cowbell – JV -Kim-Chi, Surge and Hawg

No official finishers as it was an AMRAP for only 25 min in the middle of a Hawg style beat down

#2 Can the H8 be Conquered -10/23/16 10 Pax : Bubba, Belloq, Cowbell, Frasac, JV, Maverick, Surge, Triple Shift, Tool and Hawg

Changed to the 40 minute challenge:

Each lap consists of running south to the top of the levee, crossing canal (bear crawling the neutral ground), running south to the bottom of the levee, cross canal and run north to the top of the levee, cross canal (bear crawling the neutral ground), running north down the levee and back across canal to the starting point.  At the starting point you do a descending burp and merk pyramid starting at 8 (bupee with 8 merkins, burpee with 7 merkins, …..burpee with 1 merkin)

At the end of the 2nd lap the burp and merk pyramid starts at 7, etc.

The goal is to complete 8 laps in 40 minutes.  According to MapMyRun, each loop is approximately 0.4 miles.  Therefore, to conquer the H8! you will have to do the following in 40 minutes:

    • Run over 3 Miles of Hills
    • 550 Yards of Bear Crawls
    • 36 Burpees
    • 120 Merkins

NO Finishers: Bubba was the only one close with :20 away from completing.

#3 The H8 Can be Conquered 3/16/17 13 Pax – Bogey, Duct Tape, Fracsac, Griswold, Kimchi, Reluctant Yankee, Rudy, Shorty, Surge, Tool, Triple Shift, Yo-Yo (FNG), Hawgcycle

NOTE the oldest PAX this day was only 49!

BB states there were some finishers but did not state who and the click “here” to see results no longer is active.  But non the less H8 had been conquered.  Congrats!!

#4 Conquering H8 10/4/17 – 12 Pax – Cowbell, Da Parish, Fracsac, Nip/Tuck, Rudy, Shorty, SOGO, Surge, Triple Shift, Tool, Woz, Hawgcycle

5 of 12 complete – CowBell on his 2nd full attempt – NipTuck 1st Uptowner  to conquer

#5 Conquering H8 One Small act at a Time 04/19/18 – 12 Pax -Abacus, Belloq (Kotter), Jingle Vader, Mahatma (H8!er), Rudy (H8!er), Surge, Triple Shift (H8!er), Tool, Walleye (H8!er), Hawgcycle (H8!er)

1/2 the group completed – Triple Shift conquered

    JV was one lap away

    #6  H8 – Pushing the Boundaries  10/18/18

The gloom was perfect…. 21 Pax showed up to Okwata on a cool and windy morning adding another bit of intrigue to the challenge.  The anticipation of what some of the PAX knew and others were still asking themselves what the heck they were about to get into!  On a personal note I hit two milestones the last couple of months (Sept was my 1 year F3 anniversary) and just 2 days ago I crossed the 1/2 century threshold.  Roughly 6+ months ago I participated in my 1st H8 and as you read above from excerpts of Hawg’s BBs this event has been solid measurement of both physical and mental strength.  I like many was ready to see what F3 training has done – NO Doubt the H8 does have a way in humbling ambition but non the less is an allure for giving you something work towards.

Look how the challenge brought out the PAX – 21 MEN almost double all previous H8 attempts!  Almost 1/2 finished (with 3 coming close to completing 9) – several are on the cusp of reaching 8 and many more improving over previous attempts or just setting their own personal bar!

    A lot of 1st timers:

War Eagle , Medulla, Pai Gow, Rev Sox, Abacus, Quiche, Frozone, Two Yutes, Gumby, Bongo, King Kong, Smooth, Gabriel, Baby Face

    Repeat 8-attenders:

Rudy, Triple Shift, CowBell, FracSac, Mahatma, JV, Surge (T-CLAPS, he’s done everyone)

    H8!er Club:

1st Time: Rev-Sox, King Kong, Smooth, Gabriel, Two Yutes, JV (congrats on reaching it) – Repeaters: Rudy, Triple Shift, Cowbell, Mahatma

There were some that came Oh so close – push hard for 6 months and come back and conquer the 8!

H8 Humility – setting a personal goal a little too high……for now! But following the advice of the H8 beat down originator: Hawg, I started on 9 and threw a few guys off.  So along with

T-Claps to King Kong for pushing the pace – Smooth for kicking everyone’s butt – I’m confident 9 is # that will be conquered at the next H8 challenge.

Make the commitment to yourself- keep pushing to raise your bar.  Good Work!

    God Bless!

  • It’s all about the Tempo…

So just like LSU did to Georgia this past weekend…

LSU went up-tempo on offense to beat Georgia, and it opened everything up

LSU Tigers running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (22) runs the ball during first half action against the Georgia Bulldogs in Baton Rouge on Saturday, October 13, 2018. (Photo by Brett Duke, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune) NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune

YHC decided to bring the Tempo to the Birdcage beatdown.  The goal was to be constantly moving (tempo) throughout the whole beatdown to keep those heart rates up and mumblechatter down.  YHC also wanted to minimize the plank and wait times for the PAX.  So, after a short disclaimer, oh I forgot to say this is F3 (thanks Bartman for the reminder), we were off.

Mosey around Golf Club to open field on right for Warm-up

    • Abe Vigoda IC X10
    • Leg Swings IC X10 R then L (Quite a challenge staying balanced on this one)
    • Imperial Walkers IC X20
    • Hillbillies IC X20

    Quick Mosey to Shelter for

    Red Hot Chili Pepper

    • Right Leg Step Ups x 16; Decline Merkins x 8; Left Leg Step Ups x 16; Incline Merkins x 8
    • Right Leg Step Ups x 12; Decline Merkins x 6; Left Leg Step Ups x 12; Incline Merkins x 6
    • Right Leg Step Ups x 8; Decline Merkins x 4; Left Leg Step Ups x 8; Incline Merkins x 4
    • Right Leg Step Ups x 4; Decline Merkins x 2; Left Leg Step Ups x 4; Incline Merkins x2

No rest between exercises, just constant movement all the way till done.  YHC was catching his breath by the end of this one.

Quick Mosey to open area outside of Shelter for “The SUCK”

    • SSH X6
    • Jump Squats X6
    • Merkins X6

Complete as many rounds in 3 minutes calling out each round when completed.

    Back to the shelter for:

People’s Chair Jack Webb starting with 1 merkin to 2 Air Presses in People’s Chair doubling all the way up to 10 merkins and 20 Air Presses.  These were done IC so everybody would stay together and no slouching.

Quick mosey to Lagoon/Bandstand for 11’s (sorry Yoga Ladies for stealing your spot!)

    • 10 8-Count Body Builders
    • Up and Over Band Stand
    • 1 Squat Jack

Continue decreasing by 1 on the 8-Count Body Builders and adding 1 Squat Jack until PAX gets to 1 8-count Body Builder to 10 Squat Jacks.  Time was running short so YHC called it and we moseyed back to the Flag for quick Nolan Ryans 10 on each side OYO to finish out.

Nice job PAX!  YHC hopes the PAX enjoyed the “Tempo”.

Count-off, Name-o-rama (one FNG who we named Slick as he works/worked for Exxon and in the oil & gas industry, welcome)

Announcements – Sandbar is Q’ing a F3 workout on Sunday morning, October 28th at Audubon Park by the new Drew Brees Playground on Walnut and St. Charles for PAX and 2.0’s.  All 2.0’s are welcome.

Intentions/Prayer – Please remember all in the Florida Panhandle who are just beginning their journey to recovery and healing.

Thanks to our F3 brothers from F3Alpha and F3Cherokee for posting with us this morning.  Hope to see you back in F3NOLA sometime!

Thank you for the opportunity to lead!  SYITG
