13 men came to the Wally Sprint for varying flavors of difficulty, but all with the purpose of becoming stronger than when they arrived.
Ruckers- Logo, Charmin, Hokie, Kenner Brah, Macgyver, Boo-Boo, Klinger, and Baloo completed 2.37 miles followed by nine minutes of Mary incorporating weighted rucks.
Tenderloin did his thing.
Sprinters- Hawg, Frac, Pai Gow, Mambi mindlessly sprinted around the track and showed up to COT dizzy.
COT, prayers, OUT! Coffeteria followed with partial attendance.
As 0530 approached, 3 Pax were ready to Ruck… but we knew we could wait for two more to join us
One of which was being a HIM for his daughter by walking her to her car before heading to Ruck.
As 0532 was upon us we started to leave and mosey through the neighborhood tour Pax members houses… Scantron, Vagabond, Hawg, Hobbs (new) and Hobbs (old)
We came back to join the Sprinters for COT
5 Pax Rucked and Pai Gow ran
We six gathered at 0530 and 5 Rucked over the tracks and through the woods and neighborhood then we gathered for COT
With Saturday’s 55k looming just a few days out, runners were resting except Pai Gow
Meanwhile YHC, Belloq, Beignet & MacGyver did the Wally Mosey through the neighborhood getting Beignet some mileage under weight before his departure for Marquette next Monday.
With red beans making their way through from Monday, 3 pax hit the track for a little afterburner blast. Sprint the straightaways and mosey between for 4.20 miles of work.
3 pax beat the fartsack and hit the track to get some miles in. 100 % participation at Coffeteria.
YHC got a text from the Site Q late last night that he was Down Range and asked if YHC could take it. Being tired and sore, the answer wanted to be no. Then YHC remembered a saying. “If not me, then who?”
5 Pax for the Wally sprint. Mile warmup, followed by the ladder of 100m up to 400m with a 100m recovery between each. Up and down until 0615.
