A1C Five year anniversary – from Jose10k

This one’s gonna be short, sweet, and straight to the point—mainly because I still haven’t caught my breath from this morning’s smoker.

Five years ago, we created the A1C because there was nothing happening on Fridays. Covington had one beatdown—and no offense to the 10K Aulét, but we needed more than just a run. So, we built this thing. And here we are.

Standard issue: warm up Toe touches, arm circles, torso twists, grass grabbers, and book covers.

The thang part one: One corner of the lot. Just four exercises.
• 6 Burpees
• 12 Lunges
• 6 Merkins
• 12 Squats
Repeat for 10 rounds.

The Thang – Part 2:
Back to Moby’s truck. Out came the 120-pound chain.
We split: 5 men on one end of the parking garage, 5 on the other.
• One man drags the chain to the other side
• Then the next man drags it back
2 rounds of that
While that happened, the rest did
rounds of squats, core, and whatever else we could squeeze out.

COT & Intentions:
• shooters coworker who passed recently—prayers for his wife Kim and their family.
• Our brother SoGo, battling cancer—may the doctors be guided and the prognosis improve.
• For all spoken and unspoken intentions—we lift them up.

This AO has been a true blessing in my life. I’m proud to have started it, but even more thankful for the brothers who’ve kept it alive:

Special props to Moby—been there since the beginning. Shooter and Steve, too. Darkwing, Einstein, Fletch, BBQ, Russo, Hogsbreath, Hammer…and everyone who’s ever stopped in, pushed through the pain, and lifted someone else up along the way.

Y’all have been more than just workout partners—you’ve been brothers in pain and brothers in Christ.

I’ll miss y’all next week while I’m out of town. Catch y’all on the flipside. Jose10k out
