About a month ago, Kilo asked YHC to Q the day before his wedding. I was honored, flattered, and slightly concerned that this was just a clever way for him to bail if cold feet set in. Then, earlier this week he “slept in” a couple of times. Fartsacker… I was unsure if he was showing up. Flat tire, dead battery (I’ve bailed him out on that one countless times before), had to wash his hair, dog ate his homework… he has used them all. But… I happily obliged. For Olivia.
He also promised 6-8 FNGs. Not sure who… groomsmen, cousins, long-lost uncles, the cult guy at the Renni on Sundays, Shuffles on the track at Pontiff, Charmin from Kennarieridge, etc.
After much planning, the big day arrived. Maybe the biggest day of Kilo’s life, or month, or week. Honestly, I may have been more excited for this than Kilo is for his honeymoon. Sorry Olivia. Arrived early to set up cones, shovel flags, music, signage, and forgot only one thing… my bitch mittens. Sacrifices must be made. 5:30 rolls around. Disclaimer given. Uptowner renamed “Kilo Day.” Welcomed the crowd, thanked them for posting… and spotted one FNG. One. As in singular. Kilo promised me 6-8, but apparently math is hard. Hopefully he doesn’t falsely promise Olivia 6-8 especially with the Honeymoon quickly approaching.

YHC: I have sincerely enjoyed getting to know Kilo over the last 12 months. He has not only pushed me in the gloom to be better physically, but he has helped me in a calm, quiet (Kilo’s modus operandi) way to be a better man. I appreciate HIM for that. He is a HIM. Gift given on behalf of all of F3 NOLA to help him and Olivia enjoy the honeymoon just a bit more. Hug shared. Sappy moment over.

Whether a wedding, City Pork, Bogey’s new CSAUP he’s planning (stay tuned), or whatever else a PAX drums up… I enjoy when we get together as a larger group. F3 is special and has been a bigger part of my mentality over the last few months as I have made some life changes.
