The Thang
Started at the peristyle with:
Abe Vigodas x 10 (in cadence)
Grass Grabbers x 10 (in cadence)
Imperial Walkers x 20 (in cadence)
SSH x 20 (in cadence)
8 counts x 10 (in cadence)
Took a winding mosey over to the “Castle of the Eye” sculpture (at the northwest corner of the sculpture garden) and circled up for 20 Rocky Balboas (in cadence) and 10 OYO burpees.
Moved over to the benches for:
Dips x 20 (in cadence)
Alternating Leg Step Ups x 20 (in cadence, 8-count)
Derkins x 20 (in cadence)
Took a 20 count, then moseyed to the Foundry for a slightly modified quarter Murph. Pax did this in the usual 5, 10, 15 sets, but were encouraged to alternate dips and derkins with merkins. In place of squats, jump squats and bonnie blairs (2 is 1) were done instead. PAX did burpees (in cadence) waiting for the six.
Moseyed toward the museum, stopped about midway for a merkin ring of fire (2 rounds). PAX were encouraged to plank jack instead of simply holding a plank when they weren’t merkining.
Moseyed to steps on the right side of the museum for:
Calf Raises x 20 (in cadence)
Decline shoulder taps x 20 (in cadence)
Calf Raises (right leg) x10 (in cadence)
Calf Raises (left leg) x10 (in cadence)
Decline hip slaps x 20 (in cadence)
Moved to back of museum and took a people’s chair. Held the peoples chair for a bit, then did some overhead claps x 20 (in cadence) in the people’s chair. Spiced it up by raising our right legs in the people’s chair for 10 seal claps (in cadence), then another 10 of the same with the left leg lifted. Back to feet for Moroccan night clubs x20 (in cadence), but spiced them up with some side-straddle hopping.
20 count, then started the mosey back to the great lawn for some ultimate frisbee with the usual 3 merkins for loss of possession and penalty merkins for getting scored on. Did about 5 minutes of stretching to finish up.
