Warmup mid football field then onward to rock pile and then to hill where pax did 11s back and forth from bottom to top: not sure what you call it but squat down to pick up rock on ground and hand clean it above head, then back on the ground again (1 rep) and then bear crawl to top of hill and other exercise was bob-n-weave. After 11s bear crawl to other side of hill pushing rock. Death marched to gym with rocks. Circled up for pax choice rock exercise while rotating counter clockwise to use each others’ rocks. Return to rock pile and flag for COT.

You Were Warned! – from Fracsac
YHC arrived a little early to set up for what would be a serious beat down. The Pax started to join, wondering why they didn’t seek a different AO since this was clearly labeled “This is gonna suck.”
A Down Range Pax from Waxhaw arrived with a couple minutes to spare, glad YHC planted a flag today. Jingles had no idea what he was getting himself into….At 0530, disclaimer given with a short mosey to the field for a warmup, which consisted of normal stuff. Only things worth mentioning were the Toy Soldiers and Moroccan Night Club where dancing was highly encouraged.
Motivator – a deconstructed SSH. That got the Pax attention!
Seven cones set out 5 yards apart for Lucky 7 BLIMPS.
7 burpees at first cone, 6 at second, and so forth. After 1 burpee run to other end zone and back and wait for the 6. Continue with Lunges, imperial walkers, merkins, plank jacks and squats.Deconstructed Burpees – squats, thrusters, merkins, thrusters, squat jumps. Once complete, put it all together for burpees with the 30 seconds remaining.

They’ve Never Felt So Wrong – from Boo-Boo
12 PAX entered the Pontiff bull pen, of which ten were hoping to add another notch in their quest to have their name etched in the El Diablo bat! Tclaps to Hokie and Rudy for being the first two to complete the challenge.
A short mosey to midfield for a warmup. YHC always decides the warmup on the fly, and Rudy was quick to comment when YHC was slow in deciding the next exercise. He mistakenly took that as a sign of weakness and poor planning. The warmup included (at a minimum) SSH x31 in honor of Wally Pontiff, #31 LSU baseball; Grass Grabbers; Arm circles x10 forward and x11 backwards (to throw off Fracsac with his backwards counting); Mountain Climbers x15, PP x15; and IW x20. It is possible YHC forgot a few exercises.
The PAX were instructed to line up on the the south goal line, facing north. As YHC pulled out his phone an announced we would be recycling a stacking beatdown, with some modifications, Hawg brought during the COVID shutdown, the mumblechatter increased, with Rudy again misjudging what was about to happen. Over the laughter and heckling, YHC gave instructions to the PAX to complete the designated stacking workout with a 50 yard mosey between each set as follows:

Full-body Beatdown Bonus Burpees – from Bolt

The Thang: make our way from exercise pad near flag to exercise pad on David Dr. side using the path via alternating side shuffles, stopping at each bench for five burpees (Frac is a semantics stickler and informed us a picnic table is a picnic bench therefore a burpee station). Arriving at the exercise equipment, we assumed the following stations: pull ups, dips, leg press, incline bench, horizontal lat pull, rower, incline sit ups for tabata sets of AMRAP then rotate counterclockwise (a concept War Eagle’s millennial brain couldn’t follow, thus chaos ensued). Return to flag via same route, method as before. Frac was pleased he exceeded his RDA of burpees during a beatdown. Welcomed FNG, stroganoff, who is Glamper’s 15yo 2.0. -

Circled up and layed the deck of cards In the center. We went around the circle doing 20 of whatever card chosen(lots of Merkin’s). The Burpee option was given for those doing the Friday burpee challenge and Bolt and Hangrenade completed100 each.

BBB (Bolt’s Beast Builder) – from Bolt
Warmorama: Rapper’s Delight edition with an emphasis on the parts used in burpees. The Thang: 100 burpees for time and with the mantra of, “Leave No Man Behind, Leave No Man Where You Found Him” we will all continue supporting those still pushing themselves until the Six is in! Hawg led the pack, establishing himself as a beast with a time of 7:18. War Eagle opted for a couple laps after 1.5 burpees, Triple showed up coiffed and just after the main Thang ended—shocker. A game of FastTax’s brainchild, ultimate frisburpee, ensued, resulting in Thumb War’s consternation with the rule differences from the far less interesting ultimate frisbee. The end result was the non-R.E.D. Team lost 1-0.

Charmin celebrates 3YO Daughter/Everyone Celebrates Hawg and SOGO’s Baby??? – from Bolt
Warmorama Rapper’s Delight edition with MNC/dancing by request plus bonus chinooks/reverse chinooks. The Thang: move between benches along running path toward David Dr. workout equipment via Q’s instructions (shuffle both directions, mosey, backward mosey, high knees, skip) stopping for 10 burpees, adjusting to 5 upon Charmin astutely realizing we’d never get to his half of the Q otherwise. Charmin sets the count on 10 BBSU while everyone does AMRAP: pull ups, leg press, incline bench, tricep dips, rows. Cycle through all stations and then complete the path loop, stopping at each light post for either 3 hillbillies or 3 IW OYO moseying between. Along this stretch we encountered what could only be described as the love child of Hawg and SOGO: congrats, it’s a girl, strong/shapely/sans shoes yet sporting a half tank top shrouded by a weighted vest. There then seemed to be a pep in all PAX step along with some mumblechatter but I digress. Upon return to the original workout equipment near the flag we circled up for a Charmin led baby maker to plank combo which began right after Charmin doled out three penalty burpees to Rev due to some underlying battle of faiths (did I mention its Charmin’s daughter”s third bday?), although it’s possibly because Rev ran away from us the whole workout—probably the Bolt soundtrack.
