What happens when you wait a week to write a backblast? You can’t remember any of the rapid-fire one-liners that were coming from Jose during the warmup. I do remember that it was a one-man show, though – as Chewy and YHC were still mostly asleep.

Anyway, the beatdown was an old routine of mine, updated and recycled: The Bench Tabata (all exercises using the bench, 45 seconds on, 15 rest).

First and Second Set:
Alternating Leg Raises with Freak Nasty x2
Single Leg Wife Pleasers x2
Alternating Side Toe Touches x2
Single Leg Lunge with Fallback to Bench x2
Wife Pleasers with Hip Open Up Top x2

x3 Calf Raises up each step, x10 burpees up top.

Rinse and repeat first set, along with calf raises and burpees, before circling back to benches for second set of exercises.

Third Set:
Tabletop Crunch x2
Step Downs x2
Bulgarians x2
Crunchy Frog holding bench x2
Derkins x1, Irkins x1

x3 Calf Raises up each step, x10 burpees up top. Back down to R&R, but had to call for time.
